HISBDC has joined the PROJECT SHAKA MOVEMENT to help Hawaii’s small business grow with Aloha using Project Shakaʻs “Create with Aloha” workshop system. The program is 6-month business improvement cohort program produced in collaboration with ID8 and First Foundation Bank.
Free Kickoff Shaka Screening
The program begins with a free kick-off event to preview the cohort model and view the award-winning documentary, “Shaka, A Story of Aloha,” the content that will drive the cohort over the course of the program. Attendees will also meet primary instructors Steve Sue, Founder of Project Shaka, Cynthia Yamasaki, Oahu Center Director of HISBDC and Emari Hunn, Manager at First Foundation Bank. The kick-off event will also include an introduction to how the cohort will operate including how small businesses can grow their business teamwork, core values and Aloha quotient. The system also includes the VIBE® Personal Creative Skills Assessment & Leadership Development System, the SumoSum.com Financial Forecasting System and the “Create with Aloha” Workbook System.
